• When does the SPRING season start?

Games start Friday, 02/24/23, with possible Thursday games in Murrieta
9 regular season games - 2 weeks of playoffs and championship games
Season will end 05/12/23 or 5/19/2023

• Where will the games be played?

Los Alamos Sports Park in Murrieta
Birdsall Sports Park in Temecula

• When does practice start and where will practice be held?

Practices will start in late January/early February. Practice day, time and location are determined by volunteer head coach.

• What equipment does my player need?

Mouth guards are required
Cleats (NO METAL CLEATS) are recommended

• What size football is used? 

Kinder/1st grade - Mini (F3)
1st/2nd grade - Mini (F3)
3rd/4th grade - Peewee (F5)
5th/6th grade - Peewee or larger
7th/8th grade - Junior or Youth (F7)

• How many players per team?

Eight players per team minimum - Nine maximum

• Friend requests?

We will do our best to honor requests, however, requests are not  guaranteed. Groups of 3 or more friends will not be placed on the same team unless a parent is willing to be the head coach.

• How much is registration and what is included?

$250 (Includes jersey, shorts and a set of flags)

• What is the Sponsor fee?

Each team is responsible for finding a local business to sponsor their team for $275. This gives our local businesses a chance to contribute to the community while getting a tax deduction. Sponsors receive a plaque with a picture of the team and the business name is featured on the website. This fee also keeps your registration costs down. If the team does not find a sponsorship, each team is responsible for splitting the cost by total players.  

• Does every team participate in playoffs?

Kinder/1st grade division does not have playoffs.
All other divisions (1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade divisions) participate in single elimination playoff tournament after the regular season.  

• When will I hear from my players coach?

Coaches will start receiving rosters midJanuary and will begin contacting players soon thereafter. If you do not hear from your players coach by January 27th, 2023, please email pylon2pylonfootball@gmail.com

• End of season awards?

Kindergarten/1st and 1st/2nd division players ALL receive participation awards. Only 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th division champions receive awards.

• Can my child play if he gets injured and is wearing a cast?

No. 

• Are dogs allowed on the fields at the games?

For the safety of others, DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
